Fair brows: the colour is chosen before the first stroke
A “light” pigment is not enough. Skin type and undertone guide the choice of colour: one of the first things taught in class.

On fair brows the most common mistake is to think a “light” pigment will do. First comes a study of the hair, the skin and the face.
Two different things to assess
Fitzpatrick skin type: how the skin reacts to the sun.
Undertone: whether the skin leans warm, cool or neutral.
They are different things, but both are needed to choose a colour that sits in harmony with the brows and stays natural.
Every treatment starts here: observe before you draw.
In class
It is the same principle pigment theory is built on in Aura Academy’s courses: observe and understand first, then perform. See the programme on the microblading course.
